Our Name
In Latin, Ad Lucem means "towards the light". It was the motto of my 500+ year old school, St Batholomew's Grammer School, in the UK.
I chose this as the name for my consulting company as it describes a continuous journey of learning and development.
Ad Lucem desires to work with clients who want to do real and serious work in individual and organisational development and not those who are simply 'ticking the box'.

Ad Lucem provides consulting, learning and development in the areas of strategy, change, leadership, globalisation and project management.
Professor Kirkbride operates independently or can pull togther a team for larger assignments.

In my role as Adjunct Professor at Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) I recently led two executive education programs. The first was the three day New Leader program and the second was the four day Effective Leader program.
Both programs were highly rated by participants.

It is always gratifying to know that people are reading the articles you have written. My paper on Chinese Negotiation Styles has now been cited (quoted by other authors and referenced) over 400 times and my paper on Transformational Leadership has nearly 200 citations.
Overall my various articles and papers have been read over 3000 times!
